Anne Kubik, LADC
Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor
I enjoy working with all people, no matter the diagnosis, religion, sex, gender, race, charges, or backgrounds. I offer a space to be authentically you with no judgment. My hope is for you to leave feeling, you were heard, validated and that you have the skills to get where you want to be.
I have experience in working with MAT (Medication assisted treatments), residential, Intensive Outpatient (IOP), relapse prevention and continuing care. I utilize motivational interviewing and skills from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to work on changing our mindset and managing thoughts, emotions, feelings and creating healthier behavior. I work from a person-centered, strength-based, and solution-focused approach.
My only goals are your goals. It is not my job to tell you what success is or how to live your life. My job is to give you as many options as possible to get you where you want to go, while encouraging fun and laughter to be a part of life. (Change is not all about being serious)
I understand that everyone comes from different places in life, and I wholeheartedly believe everyone can change their circumstances. It may not always be pretty, fun or the way we think it should be, but it can always happen. You get to make all the choices in your life; it is yours to live. I may challenge you or encourage you to see it from a different angle but will always support the decisions you make.
